A Little Bit About Me...

Hi, my name is Whitney Dibb!

I am a Senior at Grossmont High School. I picture have had a consistent GPA of 3.65, but my latest progress report was a 4.0. In my final year, my classes are: Business for English, Leadership, US Government, Statistics, and 3D Design. My junior year classes were: US History, English, Pre-Calculus, Psychology, Physics, and Computer Programming.

I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old. Every pictureyear that I was eligible to make an all star team, I was awarded the privilege and competed as a starter. Currently, I am playing for the San Diego Renegades, which is one of the top ranked teams in San Diego County. My primary positions are Catcher and 3rd Base, but I also play 1st Base and Outfield.

My Travel team is coached by Coach Jon Stern. See the team link above to the team's web page. And my .pdf profile on the Renegades website is here.

My offensive and defensive coach is Sara Hayes, owner and founder of Powerline Consulting. Sara is a graduate of Notre Dame where she was an award-winning Catcher, 3rd Baseman and offensive standout. She has years of experience as an assistant coach, including San Diego State University where the entire staff won Coaching Staff of the Year in 2008. Prior to opening her business, Sara had four years experience as a Division I Head Coach.

I am a very positive teammate and responsible student. I will be graduating in 2013 and intend to major in medicine or the forensics side of criminal justice.

In 2011, I was privileged to be a part of the Grossmont Varsity Softball Team, which won the CIF Division I Softball Championship for San Diego County.

NCSA is also assisting me in my college recruiting efforts.

Please feel free to email me at Whitney Dibb if you have any further questions.

TCS 'City of Lights' Showcase

November 2-4, 2012

Las Vegas, NV

(I played in 9 games as I also played in the Individual Camp games)

And from our coach about our team's performance in Vegas:

4 wins and a tie (depending on scorekeeper). We scored 50 and gave up 10 (5 of which came in 1 game). We beat the Arizona State Champions, tied the Nevada State Champions and beat the Canadian National 16U team! All of this being done while rotating every two innings and batting everyone!  Each girl received valuable attention from the colleges. It was amazing seeing how much attention we drew. We have already been accepted to both the Reno and Vegas Show Cases next year as 18's!
